Once Upon a Time…
Last Wednesday night/Tuesday morning, a certain rat, ….errr…Monster Mouse, once again avoided the traps. However, he left a part of him behind. He somehow managed to get into the trash without getting completely stuck in any of the traps…but somehow he got his tail stuck in one of the traps and he left it behind! EEEWWWW…I was completely grossed out by this. I still took a picture, but I was so grossed out.
Due to how grossed out I was and the sensitive nature of it, the picture will be at the below link for those who actually desire to see the piece of his tail. Ewww… so gross. lol My husband was even wondering why I was taking a picture. lol I’m not sure actually. I guess for those of you who are strange and would want to see the pic. Although, I can’t imagine why anyone would click on the link – maybe no one will. lol
To our knowledge, he did not make an appearance last night. This surprised me as it has been raining rather hard and consistently since sometime in the middle of the night. I expected he would want to come in out of the wet. Perhaps he is in hiding, nursing his hurt tail.
We are not about to give up, nor are we at the point of resorting to rat poison. However, this is how my kitchen currently looks:
As I say in each post that I’ve written about Monster Mouse (I have ceased referring to him as Fatso…it was too long when I would add the Monster Mouse on the end. He is now only “Monster Mouse”), he need to die soon! Especially because each night as I make a trek downstairs, through the kitchen, on my way to the bathroom, I have a mini heart attack as I am so frightened that a Monster Mouse will be in a trap or in my path (which would be 10 times worse). Here’s hoping that we have more success this weekend! :)

Even that he should look more like a guinea pig without a tail, I don’t want Fatso -ähm…Monster Mouse- any more now, sorry

Considering all the food he’s eaten so far he might be living on reserves😕.

lol He just might be. We haven’t seen him since he lost his tail. And we caught a mouse last night. Not sure if this means that he’s moved on or not (I sure hope he has!).
