Rural Ramblings of a Metropolitan Maiden

My life is rather boring, so hopefully that doesn’t make for a boring blog.  I work full-time at a library, am very active in my local church, and enjoy working with the youth group at my church. 

I am a redhead and love my hair.  I’m not ever planning to dye it, but we’ll see how I feel about that when it starts going gray.  I don’t feel that I have the “redheaded” temper, but to get the whole feeling for that, you’d have to ask my family and friends.  lol 

I love to smile, be happy, and have fun.  I am married to a wonderful man named Matt, and we just bought a house.  We have a turtle named Speedbump and several unwanted mice (which we are trying to get rid of).  My husband teaches in a Christian School and loves it.

So, I thought to help you out, I would put a list of stuff about me.  That is a lot easier than trying to put it in paragraph form.  lol

Things about me:

1. I like to be outdoors, but I get cold easy, so that sometimes ruins the mood.

2.  I enjoy playing the piano, but I am not as proficient as I would like to be.

3.  I like to crochet and just found out that I am better at it than I knew.  lol

4. I grew up in SoCal.  I enjoy where I live now, though it is vastly different from California.

5. I was married on 7/7/07 and think that is so cool.

6.  Every job I have ever have has centered around children or books or both.

7.  I love to sing and always have a song stuck in my head.

8.  I have lived in 5 different states.  California, Michigan, Wisconsin, Idaho, and Delaware.

9.  I am the only one in my immediate family with red hair.

10.  My favorite color is turquoise.  I also like green, brown, yellow, basically all colors.  lol

11.  I am silly and crazy.  I think I am really funny, but not everyone agrees with me.  lol

12. I like to scrapbook and just started my 13th one.

13.  This is my favorite number.  I guess you can conclude that I am not superstitious.

14.  I love to read – hence working in a library.

15.  I love to go to church.   I received Christ as my personal Saviour when I was 9 years old.

That pretty much sums up my hobbies, likes, and you will be happy I didn’t list my dislikes.  lol  Thanks for visiting!
