President’s Day Weekend

Matt and I had such a fun, relaxing weekend.  We went up north to Pennsylvania to visit friends of ours, Tim and Shannon.  Their 5 month old baby is so adorable!  Which explains why most of my pictures are of her.  🙂

We were going to go out to the shooting range on Saturday, but it was really windy, cold, and gloomy.  So, we hung out at the house and had a great evening.

Sunday was the most relaxing Sunday that I’ve had in a really long time.  The church that Tim pastors is young and small and they only have one service on Sunday morning.  I participated in the congregational singing by playing the piano.  I had so much fun!

That evening we went over to Tim’s parents house for an evening of amazing food, good friends, and fun games.

Monday was more relaxing at home since 8 inches of snow was dumped the night before.  On the way home, we stopped to visit with Amanda and Andy and had a great dinner of soup from Zoup!  Love it!  Wish there were one of those in my area.  🙂

On our way home, it started sleeting and shortly before pulling in our driveway that sleet had turned to freezing rain.  Woke up this morning to a blanket of white.  Which is pretty amazing when you consider that the high temperature for our area yesterday was 63 and we got snow overnight.  Two inches of snow!  Matt had no work today even.  His weekend was extended – lucky.
